As an AUSD School Board Member, I promise to:
- Listen to all stakeholders' viewpoints on any given educational issue, and to respond in a positive, reflective manner.
- Work collaboratively with all AUSD staff members, other School Board Members, parents, community partners and students to resolve challenging issues.
- Continue to provide and expand upon the academic and extracurricular programs for all AUSD students. Given our limited resources, and the need to be fiscally responsible, this will be the challenge of the decade.
- Always work and make decisions with the goal of student success in mind.
- Be an active, present School Board member, knowledgeable of individual schools' needs and challenges, and interested in celebrating each one's success.
